Bruno Mars is thanking one special fan for inspiring him.  Fan footage from Bruno's concert in Cleveland last Saturday shows the singer gifting Zumyah Thorpe with his guitar and his hat after bringing her on stage to sing "Just The Way You Are."

The eleven-year-old lost her pregnant mother and her two sisters after they were hit by a drunk driver last year.  Zumyah survived, and is being treated for extensive brain damage at the UH Rainbow Babies and Children's Hospital in Cleveland, Ohio.

Her doctor there tells WKYC News that she's "absolutely convinced" it was Bruno's music that helped Zumyah recover.  Her nurses play his songs every night, and she regained her skills by memorizing all of his lyrics.

Bruno says on Instagram that the girl is "an inspiration to the world" and has given him and his band "something [they've] never felt before."
